Position Description: 
The Vice President of Talent Acquisition position is an exempt position responsible for applying strategies that will attract and hire qualified employees. This role reports directly to the President. Responsibilities include managing a team of recruiters and crafting sourcing strategies for various roles, from entry-level to executive-level positions. This position will ensure the organization provides an excellent candidate experience, while meeting our business goals and filling our vacancies while building a strong employer brand for our company so that we can develop strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Also responsible for the design, content, and organization of CCC University to support the development of current employees. This will include job training as well as employee enhancement topics to foster and improve employee engagement.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties: 
• Design and execute recruiting strategies to attract, evaluate and hire qualified candidates
• Proactively identify and address hiring needs by consistently evaluating recruiting metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Partner with hiring managers and HR to collect relevant position information and prepare/edit job    postings
• Evaluate and refine sourcing and selection procedures
• Manage a team of recruiters and provide direct assistance as needed, including performing searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria using the ATS, networking, internet recruiting resources, social media, attending job fairs, university recruiting, personal sourcing and recruiting, and employee referrals
• Oversee and improve overall candidate experience
• Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs
• Organize recruitment events and work with Marketing to establish a strong employer brand
• Develop and execute our company’s strategic planning regarding employee development (CCC University) and engagement
• Ensure compliance with all legal aspects of the Talent Acquisition function as well as internal compliance of selection and recruitment in accordance with defined policies and procedures
• Work closely with HR to coordinate pre-start activities and onboarding. Assist with onboarding process.
• Follow up and analyze employee retention over the first 6 months. Revise recruiting and hiring practices to increase likelihood of hiring candidates who will achieve long-term success
• Understand and fully comply with laws, regulations, and company processes, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years Recruiting experience preferred
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
 
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, ATS systems (ADP experience preferred)
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence skills to build, cultivate, and facilitate strong working relationships
  • Motivated, outgoing personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong execution skills: proven ability to implement programs and/or drive outcomes
