Position based in Waco, TX
 

KXXV-TV, 25 News, the Scripps ABC affiliate in Waco, Texas is looking for a Creative Services Producer who will use their videography skills to produce high-quality local commercials for online and on air while assisting with station promotions and community engagement. *Scripps offers a hybrid work option for this position*

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Join a team of individuals who are passionate about video production
  • Shoot/edit video content for local clients and 25 News
  • Work with the sales team to accomplish client marketing goals
  • Conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit spots for multiple platforms
  • Work closely with creative team and Creative Services Director on project development and script ideas
  • Organize promotion projects and sponsored events
  • Create marketing content for social accounts and interact with and respond to social media audiences
  • Use innovative techniques to create new and interesting content
  • Attend 25 News community events to capture video and create social posts
  • Be a part of the fast-paced and exciting environment of a news station
  • Perform other duties as needed by management

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • High School diploma (or GED) required.  Bachelors degree preferred
  • 1 - 3 years experience of writing or editing in local broadcast preferred
  • At least two (2) years professional marketing/videography/creative services experiences required.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Superb attention to detail, time management skills, and strong communication skills
  • Experience working with camera, audio, and lighting equipment
  • Working knowledge of post-production editing suites, with emphasis on Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to work independently or in a group
  • Knowledge of social media marketing
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required. In addition, proof of insurance and liability coverage may be required.
