I serve as one of three Justices on the Tenth Court of Appeals in Waco, one of Texas’ fourteen intermediate Courts of Appeal, hearing appeals from lower courts in an eighteen county area that stretches from Brazos and Walker counties in the south to Ellis snd Johnson counties to the north, and west to Hamilton County. I was appointed to the Court by the Governor in August and was sworn in on September 1, 2021. Previously, I had been judge of the 361st District Court (1999-2021); Brazos County Court at Law No. 1 (1995-1998); and College Station Municipal Court (1988-1994); and was in private practice in Brazos County (1977-1994).
