Marketing Assistant

StataCorp is seeking a motivated individual to join our Marketing team. In this role, you are responsible for organizing department activities and performing daily administrative tasks.

Job duties

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Marketing team
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and booking conference rooms
  • Check in regularly with department staff to identify daily needs and provide assistance
  • Coordinate team lunches, meetings, and department events
  • Order food, beverages, and supplies for meetings and office use
  • Set up meeting rooms, including preparing materials, refreshments, and technology
  • Assist VPs and managers with basic requests such as getting drinks, copying materials, or running small errands
  • Help maintain an organized and welcoming department environment
  • Track schedules and help ensure meetings start and end on time
  • Communicate updates, reminders, and logistical details to team members
  • Assist with onboarding logistics for new Marketing team members
  • Handle incoming requests and route them to the appropriate person
  • Support light administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document organization
  • Coordinate with office management or vendors as needed

Candidate requirements

  • Strong project management skills
  • The ability to quickly understand, learn, and apply ideas
  • The ability to pay close attention to details
  • The ability to work Monday–Thursday 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
