StataCorp is seeking a technical services analyst to work in the technical
services department. Stata is used by hundreds of thousands of researchers of
all disciplines and provides features for all their data science needs: data
manipulation, visualization, statistics, and automated reporting.
This position represents an opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary
team that is continuously learning about the current and future features of the
software and to assist our users via technical support, webinars, trainings, and
web resources.
Preferred skills
- General knowledge about different operating systems
- Intermediate programming experience in at least one computer language (Java, Python, etc.)
- Excellent technical writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally in English
- Ability to work in different computer environments
- Experience with Stata
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor degree in statistics, sociology, or economics or associate of science in computer science degree
- Must be able to work in-house at our headquarters in College Station, Texas
Starting salary is commensurate with experience. StataCorp is a rapidly
